Air Moldova

Air Moldova was the flag carrier of Moldova, operating from its hub at Chișinău International Airport under the codes 9U and MLD. It flew a primarily short- and medium-haul network across Europe, connecting the capital with destinations in Romania, Italy, Germany, France, Portugal, Turkey and other regional markets, without long-haul service. The fleet centered on the Airbus A319, A320 and A321, alongside the Embraer 190, with the Embraer 120 Brasilia used in earlier years. The airline belonged to no global alliance. It ceased operations in 2023, ending decades of service as Moldova's national carrier.
