Air Mandalay

Air Mandalay was a Myanmar regional carrier that flew from 1994 until 4 September 2018, when it ceased operations amid overcapacity in the domestic market. Operating under the codes 6T and AMY, it was based at Yangon International Airport with a secondary base at Mandalay, and its network concentrated on domestic routes linking the main commercial centres and tourist points such as Bagan, Heho and Thandwe, plus limited international service into Thailand, notably Chiang Mai. The fleet consisted of turboprops, chiefly ATR 42s and ATR 72s, alongside leased Embraer ERJ 145 regional jets added in 2015. The airline belonged to no global alliance.
