Air Greenland

Air Greenland (IATA GL, ICAO GRL) is Greenland's flag carrier, based in Nuuk, which replaced Kangerlussuaq as the airline's main jet gateway after its runway was extended. Its long-haul backbone is the Airbus A330 service between Nuuk and Copenhagen, the type featured on our seat maps, while De Havilland Dash 8-200 turboprops cover domestic routes along Greenland's coast plus seasonal links to Iceland and Iqaluit in Canada. Helicopters connect smaller settlements, and leased narrowbody jets have supplemented capacity during peak summer periods. The airline operates independently and is not a member of any global alliance.
