Air Caledonie

Air Calédonie (IATA TY, ICAO TPC) is the domestic carrier of New Caledonia, based at Nouméa Magenta Airport. Its network is regional, linking the main island of Grande Terre with the Loyalty Islands of Lifou, Maré and Ouvéa, the Isle of Pines, and smaller communities such as Koné, Koumac, Touho and Belep. The fleet is made up of turboprops suited to these short island hops, and travelers here will most often see the ATR 72 and ATR 42, along with the De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter. The airline belongs to no global alliance.
