Air Berlin

Air Berlin was a German airline that operated until it ceased flying on 27 October 2017, following its insolvency earlier that year. It was based primarily at Berlin Tegel and Düsseldorf, with a strong leisure presence at Palma de Mallorca, and served destinations across Germany and Europe, around the Mediterranean and North Africa, plus long-haul routes to North America and the Caribbean. As a member of the oneworld alliance, it flew a fleet built around the Airbus A319, A320 and A321, the long-haul Airbus A330-200, Boeing 737-700 and 737-800, Bombardier Q400 and Embraer 190.
